Zippy Catch Weight · Butchery production
Prepare chicken, mutton, lamb and beef into their parts. Weigh the source meat, record the parts and waste, then confirm the batch to add the prepared parts to stock.
Ready-cut parts delivered by a supplier go through normal Stock Control receiving. A product can hold both delivered stock and stock prepared by the butcher, with separate lot records.
How to start
Record final parts once. Fat kept for tallow uses its product button. Discarded fat uses Waste / bones. Together, the cuts, retained fat and waste must balance to the source weight.
- Install Windows till version 1.5.0 or later on the butchery station and verify its scale in Setup.
- Receive the source meat in kg through Stock Control.
- Enable the prepared parts below and choose their source product. Existing mappings and processing uplifts are prefilled.
- On Butchery Till → Catch Weight, capture the source meat, choose each part’s button, and capture the prepared parts, trim and waste. Weigh loads over 15 kg in separate portions.
- Check that parts, trim and waste balance with the input, then Confirm production batch. The source weight is deducted and the prepared parts are added to stock. Purchase cost is divided by relative selling value, with processing uplifts added separately.
Production posting requires a server connection. Captures save as a draft and can be retried safely. Browser rehearsals use separate practice stock.
Product setup
Enabling a linked part switches it to its own kg stock. Confirmed production batches add stock to that product. Supplier deliveries of the same part are received normally in Stock Control.
